By downloading, installing, or using AO Vault ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AO Vault is a personal library application that allows users to save, organize, and read fanfiction from Archive of Our Own (AO3) for offline access.

3. Age Requirement

You must be at least 17 years old to use this App. Fanfiction content accessed through the App may contain mature themes.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You are responsible for all content you save and notes you create
• You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws

5. Content and Intellectual Property

• Fanfiction content belongs to the original authors on AO3
• AO Vault does not claim ownership of any fanfiction content
• You retain all rights to personal notes and tags you create
• The AO Vault app, its design, and functionality are our intellectual property

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Redistribute saved content without permission from original authors
• Use automated systems to mass-download content through the App
• Violate AO3's Terms of Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems

7. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
• We are not responsible for the content of fanfiction saved through the App
• We may modify or discontinue the App at any time

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
